Fresh Cucumber Salsa Recipe

This time of year, with our garden going crazy, is the perfect time to make fresh Cucumber Salsa. This recipe is very easy and only took 15 minutes to put together. We used Tomatoes, Green Onions, Mini Sweet Peppers, Red Onion, and Cucumber. It was a big hit. Making this was super easy, and the clean up in between cutting and after I was done was a cinch because of the Green Works Pump ‘N Clean. Because it is free of harsh chemical fumes or residue I didn’t have to worry about harmful elements in our food. Read on to see how easy this recipe is to make and let me know what you think!

Because the Green Works Pump ‘N Clean is naturally derived and food-safe, I was able to use a little on a towel and wipe the knives and cutting board in between cutting the different veggies and not only did it keep my work space cleaner, but my knife wasn’t layered with all the gunk that is normally there at the end of my meal prep. I also like this cleaner because I can use it on all of the surfaces in my kitchen and it does a fab job making clean up easier too. With the Pump action I can use one hand to get the cleaner and wipe up without having to use both hands. I found that to be really useful.

Here is the Fresh Cucumber Salsa recipe:

(All ingredients are fresh – just bought or pulled from the garden)

  • 5 large tomatoes (diced into small pieces)
  • 1 bunch of green onions (diced)
  • 3 mini sweet peppers (diced)
  • 1/3 cucumber (diced)
  • 1/2 red onion (diced)
  • 2 tbsp of chopped fresh cilantro

Mix all ingredients together and serve with fresh chips, or as a side to any meal.

I had a comment for you but when I tried to enter it it said I already asked it . HUH !! I just wanted to know what is a mini sweet pepper. Is it a jalapeno or a green, yellow or red pepper. It doesn’t look like a regular pepper. I have never seen anything like it in the grocery store.

I feel stupid asking you this but, aren’t the Mini sweet pepper jalapeno peppers. ? I have never seen anything like them in the grocery stores. I have seen red, green 7 yellow peppers but there is no heat in those & I know most salsas have some heat. This salsa look clean & very colorful. I’d be proud to serve it at any party.

      Hi Janice
They are actually called mini sweet peppers. They are by the produce, usually in the cooler part. They are in a bag of about 12-15. I didn’t use jalenpeno peppers but it did turn out really good.
      Thank you 🙂
